Shipping & Insured Delivery

At Scyntr Gems, my commitment to radical transparency and care extends past the atelier straight to your doorstep. Because every gemstone I cut is a completely irreplaceable, one-of-a-kind masterwork, I treat the shipping process with the absolute highest security standards. From the moment a gem leaves my hands to the moment it arrives in yours, its journey is entirely protected.

 

Complimentary Fully Insured Shipping

You can rest easy as I offer Complimentary Fully Insured Shipping on all gemstone orders.
  • 100% Covered: Every package is fully insured for its exact retail value. In the incredibly rare event that a package is lost, damaged, or stolen in transit, your investment is completely protected.
  • Signature Required: To guarantee safe arrival and prevent package theft, all shipments require an adult signature upon delivery. We cannot waive this requirement under any circumstances.
  • Discreet Packaging: To protect the contents from unwanted attention during transit, our exterior packaging is entirely plain and discreet. The name "Scyntr Gems" will never appear on the outside of the shipping box.

Processing & Transit Times

  • Ready-to-Ship Gems: In-stock stones are securely packaged and dispatched from my atelier within 2 to 3 business days.
  • Custom Commissions: Custom-cut stones will ship immediately upon final polish, photography, and client approval. Timeline estimates will be provided directly during the commission process.
  • Tracking Your Delivery: The moment your shipping label is generated, a secure tracking link will be emailed to you so you can monitor your gemstone’s journey in real time.

Carrier Selection

We ship exclusively through trusted luxury-courier networks via FedEx, UPS. The specific carrier is chosen based on your location to ensure the fastest and most secure routing possible.

Please note: Because an adult signature is required, we cannot ship high-value fully insured gemstones to P.O. Boxes.

Shipping to Third Parties & Jewelers

I am happy to ship your precision-cut gemstone directly to a third party—such as a custom jewelry designer, an independent appraiser, or a gift recipient. However, to maintain our strict insurance standards and protect against transit fraud, the following conditions apply to all third-party shipments:
  • Billing & Shipping Verification: For high-value transactions, our insurance provider may require a brief verification process if your shipping address does not match your credit card billing address. We will contact you immediately via email if any extra validation is needed before dispatch.
  • Authorized Adult Signature: The third party or jeweler must have an authorized adult present during business hours to sign for the package upon delivery. We cannot ship to a facility that uses unauthorized drop boxes or unmonitored mailrooms.
  • Transfer of Custody: Our comprehensive shipping insurance coverage concludes the exact moment the tracking status registers a successful, signed delivery at your designated third-party destination. Scyntr Gems is not responsible for the stone once it has safely entered the custody of your chosen jeweler or third party.
