Untreated Tanzanian spessartite garnet of .94 carats. This Fiery neon juicy orange color flashes from every angle and commands attention. This stone is truly electric in the hand and was collected back in 2023-24 by John Garsow on a trip to Tanzania where he works with artisanal miners. The stone here is cut into a cushion type optimized for this material for brilliance and scintillation. This Spessartite Garnet has many microscopic inclusions as most do but the vivid color of this lot of stones and the precision cutting to maximize the sparkle make them clean to the eye. This would create an amazing bespoke piece of jewelry as an accent or centerpiece.
